Traffic Alert: Weekend I-684 Lane Reductions In Westchester

NORTH CASTLE, NY — You might want to leave a little early for the kid's soccer game on Saturday — roadwork plans might get in the way of those weekend plans.

A lane reduction along I-684 in North Castle is planned on Saturday for bridge repairs.

The New York State Department of Transportation said that single and double lane closures along Interstate 684 northbound are expected between Exit 2 (State Route 120) and Exit 3 (State Route 22) in North Castle.

The bridge repairs are expected to take place between 7:30 a.m. and 2 p.m., weather permitting.

The NYSDOT is reminding drivers to slow down and drive responsibly in work zones. Remember, fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. Convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of your driver's license.
