What's Closed In Chappaqua On Memorial Day?

City and government offices will be closed for three days.

CHAPPAQUA-MOUNT KISCO, NY—Monday, May 29, is Memorial Day. Most federal, state and local government offices are closed. There will be no mail delivery. Many businesses are open.

  • Libraries: closed.
  • Local school districts: closed
  • Local garbage pickup will be on a Holiday week schedule.
  • Banks: closed
  • State courts: closed
  • New York Stock Exchange (NYSE): closed
  • U.S. Post Offices: closed
  • State government offices: closed
  • County government offices: closed
  • Local government offices: closed
  • Supermarkets: open
  • Liquor stores: open

You will be able to go swimming though since the Mt. Kisco Memorial Pool opens at noon on Saturday, May 27. Registrations will be taken at the pool from 11:30-1:30. If you have not registered for the pool prior to May 27 you will be able to sign up then. Make sure that you have proof of residency (current bill with your name and address on it) cash or check and your 2016 Photo Pool Pass if you still have it.
