18-Year-Old Fatally Stabbed In Flatiron District: NYPD
The Bronx teen was stabbed near Park Avenue South late Friday, authorities said.

FLATIRON DISTRICT, NY - Police are looking for the suspect who fatally stabbed a Bronx teen in the Flatiron District late Friday, authorities said.
Denzel Bimpey, 18, of Washington Avenue in the Bronx, was found by police officers about 10:41 p.m. near East 26 Street and Park Avenue South with multiple stab wounds to his chest, shoulder and arm, police said.
Medics rushed him to Bellevue Hospital, but he couldn’t be saved.

No arrests have been made as of Monday morning, though a “person of interest" was taken into custody, the New York Post reported.
The investigation is ongoing.
