23rd Street F, M Station Re-opens Following Closure for Explosion

The MTA says the stop is open, though the Sixth Avenue entrance is not in use. All other stops have re-opened as well.

CHELSEA, NY — Service has resumed to the 23rd Street F, M station just in time for the morning commute on Monday.

The MTA said the station, which was closed due to police activity resulting from Saturday night's bombing in Chelsea, has re-opened. However, the Sixth Avenue entrance is still blocked off to commuters.

Both the 23rd Street and 28th Street N, R stations are also open, with trains making stops at every location. They had been closed since late Saturday. The northeast entrance to the 1 train at 23rd Street is also still blocked off.
