Ahmad Rahimi Kicked Out Of Courtroom During Chelsea Bombing Trial
The man charged with detonating a bomb in Chelsea last year was escorted from the courtroom on Monday.

CHELSEA, NY — The suspect facing charges in last year's Chelsea bombing was kicked out of the courtroom on Monday after an outburst during opening statements, according to media reports.
Ahmad Rahimi, who has been charged with with placing two bombs in Manhattan last year, stood to speak on Monday morning as prosecutors were beginning their opening statements, according to the New York Times. Rahimi continued to speak even after the judge told him to remain silent and was escorted out of the courtroom.
Rahimi later returned and apologized for speaking out of turn.

Opening statements in the trial resume after Rahimi returned to the courtroom. Rahimi has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
