Celebrity Chef Announces Colicchio & Sons Will Close Labor Day Weekend
Tom Colicchio's restaurant in Chelsea will be no more after Sept. 4.
CHELSEA, NY — Celebrity chef Tom Colicchio is closing shop on his eponymous Colicchio & Sons on Labor Day Weekend.
The chef tweeted on Thursday the restaurant would be no more after Sept. 4, but gave no reason for it closing down. Colicchio & Sons, located in West Chelsea at 85 10th Avenue, opened two rave reviews in 2010. The New York Times gave it a three-star review shortly after it opened.
6 years and 3 stars later Colicchio&Sons will serve its last dinner on September 4th. Big thanks to our loyal fans and our amazing team.

The good news for employees of the restaurant is that the employees have been offered jobs at Colicchio's new Financial District restaurant, Fowler and Wells. The modern American restaurant will be opening in September in the Beekman Hotel.
