Gray-Haired Bank Robber Holds Up Chelsea Bank, Police Say
Police are searching for the senior robber who threatened a Bank of America employee and made off with cash.

CHELSEA, NY — A gray-haired senior shuffled into a bank in Chelsea Thursday and demanded cash, police said.
The heist went down in a Bank of America on Eighth Avenue between West 16th and 17th streets at 1:45 p.m. when the robber casually walked in and threatened a teller, demanding money. The man made off with $120, authorities said.
Police described the senior as five-foot-six with a slim build and white hair. He was last seen wearing a green jacket over a red polo shirt.
