Da Andrea Opens Chelsea Location For Dinner, Brunch
The Italian restaurant opened this month at the former site of now-closed brunch spots Mexicue and Studio Kraut. Here's what to know:
CHELSEA, NY - Calling all Chelsea-based Italian cuisine enthusiasts.
Located at 160 Eighth Ave., the former site of buzzy brunch spots Mexicue and Studio Kraut, Da Andrea’s new Chelsea storefront opened Dec. 4.
It’s the second location for the Northern Italian restaurant, which has touted a Greenwich Village location at 35 West 13th St. for over two decades.

The menu for the new location features an assortment of antipasti, salads, pastas, meat dishes (see: scaloppine di pollo, filetto di manzo and zuppa di pesce) plus a selection of wines, cocktails and pastries.
The Chelsea brunch crowd can partake in afternoon specials from flatbreads, poached eggs and smoked salmon to burgers and more. You can view full brunch and dinner menus here.

Operating hours are Mondays through Thursdays from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.; Fridays from 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.; Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
