Man Slashes Co-Worker's Face At Chelsea Construction Site: NYPD

A fight between construction workers turned violent when one pulled out a sharp object and sliced the other, police said.

CHELSEA, NY — An argument between two construction workers took a violent turn in Chelsea when one man pulled out a sharp object and sliced his co-worker's face Monday morning, police said.

The men got into a dispute outside of 130 West 24th street between Sixth and Seventh avenues at about 6:30 a.m. when the 52-year-old attacker brandished a sharp object and sliced the 39-year-old victim's face from ear to chin, police said.

Medics transported the victim to Bellevue Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, authorities said.

The slasher fled the bloody scene on foot in an unknown direction. It is unclear what the two men were arguing about, police said.
