New Sweetgreen Coming To Chelsea

The popular salad spot is opening a new location at 10th Avenue and West 30th Street on Monday.

CHELSEA, NY — Gourmet salads continue their Manhattan take over with a new Sweetgreen opening on the edge of Chelsea.

The custom-made salad shop is opening at 10 Hudson Yards on Monday with an art installation by graffiti artist Faust. Customers can expect a serve-line for ordering greens and shelving for picking up pre-orders typical of all outposts.

Sweetgreen has launched more than 70 locations in seven states and the District of Columbia since its owners, a group of Georgetown University students who wanted healthier fast food options, opened their first store in 2007.
