New York City Weekend Events: Here's What's On Oct. 14-16

NEW YORK, NY — With sunny weather expect this weekend in New York City, there is no shortage of fun things to around the five boroughs.

From a first-time festival and street fairs, there lots of options for those looking to get out of the house this weekend.

Friday - Saturday

Ukraine Plays NYPD and FDNY in Baseball: Maimonides Park, Coney Island — Brooklyn

Team Ukraine is taking on the NYPD's baseball team on Friday at 7 p.m. and the FDNY's baseball team Saturday at 2 p.m.

Tickets are free, but any donations will raise funds to help rebuild Ukraine's youth sports facilities and infrastructure.

Indigenous Peoples of The Americas Parade: Madison Square Park, Manhattan

The first annual Indigenous People of the Americas Parade will set off from Madison Square Park at noon.

The parade will honor the pride, traditions, resilience and bravery of Indigenous communities in the United sTATES.

Harlem Harvest Festival: St. Nicholas Avenue between West 117th and 118th streets

This free, family-friendly festival will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.

Organized by Harlem Park to Park, it will feature food from local businesses like Ginjan Cafe and Tsion Cafe, as well as a selection of Harlem-made products sold by local vendors like Honey Botanics, k.d. Dolls and Africa in Harlem.

City Of Forest Day: In All Five Boroughs

Presented by Forest for All NYC in partnership with the Parks Department, City of Forest Day is a day of activities across the city to reaise awareness of the importance of NYC's urban forest.

In total, there will be more than 50 events happening across the city.

Introduction to Yoga: Queensbridge Park, Queens

The event is for people who are interested in yoga but have never practiced it.

The class will take place in the Queens park from 8 to 9 a.m.

Jazz In The Garden: Brooklyn Museum

There will be music in the Brooklyn Museum's Sculpture Garden at 200 Eastern Parkway. The Axel Tosca Trio featuring Xiomara Laugart will be performing from 2 to 4 p.m.

The performance will include a range of blues, jazz, and international sounds.

Concert at Webster Hall: 125 E. 11th St., Manhattan

The rock band Broken Social Scene will be performing at Webster Hall at 7:30 p.m.

The group is best known for its 2017 album "On Hug of Thunder."
