NYC Employee Arrested For Groping, Punching Woman At A Club: NYPD
Police say a Department of Sanitation employee was arrested after punching two people at a Chelsea club on Sunday.

CHELSEA, NY — A New York City employee was arrested on Sunday after he groped and then punched a woman at a Chelsea club, police said.
Thomas Dardia, a Department of Sanitation employee, was arrested Sunday at about 12:30 a.m. outside a club in Chelsea, an NYPD spokesman said.
Dardia allegedly touched a woman inappropriately before punching her in the face, and then proceeded to punch another man at the club, the spokesman said. Dardia was arrested shortly after. The New York Post reported that Dardia grabbed a woman's crotch, then punched her when she objected and punched her boyfriend when he intervened. The incident happened at Bounce Sporting Club, located at 55 W. 21st St., according to the Post.

He was charged with two counts of assault and sex abuse, police said. Dardia was off-duty at the time of the incident and the arrest, according to the NYPD.
Patch was not immediately able to contact an attorney for Dardia on Monday morning because he had not yet been arraigned.
