NYPD Continues Investigation Into Chelsea Shooting
The NYPD is looking to speak with two people in connection with Saturday's shooting in Chelsea, that injured four people.
CHELSEA, NY — Police are looking for two people of interest in connection with this weekend's non-fatal shooting in Chelsea.
Police believe that a man on a bicycle shot four men early Saturday morning in Chelsea before fleeing. The men, none of whom were in critical condition after the shooting, were standing on 14th Street between Eighth and Ninth avenues when they were hit, NYPD said in a statement. Officers arrived there at about 3:25 and found one man with a gunshot wound to the chest, police said. He was taken to the hospital and was in stable condition after the shooting. Two other men went to the hospital on their own, and the fourth man suffered a graze wound and refused medical treatment.
No arrests have been made, but police have released surveillance footage and photos of two people who they're looking to speak with regarding the shooting. Police did not say whether these people were suspects.
