CHELSEA, NY — The Long Island woman accused of pushing a beloved vocal coach to her death in an unprovoked Chelsea attack will head to court on Oct. 6, court records show.

Lauren Pazienza — accused of shoving 87-year-old Barbara Maeir Gustern on March 10 — could face up to 25 years in prison if convicted of manslaughter and assault in Manhattan Supreme Court, according to court records said.

Gustern, whose clients included stars such as Blondie front woman Debbie Harry, died from her injuries on March 15, Patch reported at the time.

Pazienza turned herself in a week after the unprovoked attack near West 28th Street and Eighth Avenue, police said at the time.

Gustern suffered from a head injury that led to brain swelling, said the New York Times.

Pazienza’s attorney Arthur Aidala — who Patch was unable to reach for comment — expressed in court his displeasure at the imminent court date but his pleas for a delay did not sway Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Felicia Mennin, according to the New York Post.

“I’m going to give you a trial date,” the judge said. "You can explain to me at that time why you’re ready or not ready."

Pazienza has twice turned down plea deals from the Manhattan District Attorney’s office, the Post reported.
