VIDEO: Robbers Attack 76-Year-Old Man In Botched Chelsea Robbery

CHELSEA, NY — Police are searching for two men who attacked a 76-year-old man inside a Chelsea apartment building on Monday night.

Surveillance video shows the man entering the lobby of the apartment building, located near West 21st Street and Seventh Avenue, at about 10:30 p.m. on Monday. The shocking footage shows two men shoving the man against the wall and then throwing him to the ground.

The would-be robbers run from the building empty-handed after throwing the man to the ground. Police said the man was treated at the scene for minor injuries.

Police are still searching for the two attackers, who they say are between 20 and 30 years old.
