CHELSEA, NY — NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio is hosting a town hall on Wednesday in Chelsea, and he's expected to discuss one of the most persistent critiques of his administration: the homelessness crisis in the city.
The town hall begins at 7 p.m. at the NYC Lab School for Collaborative Studies, 333 W 17th St, but if you can't make it in person, the livestream is available here via the Mayor's Office.
"The town hall is a great opportunity for New Yorkers to ask their questions and bring their concerns to the Mayor and his administration," a spokeswoman for the mayor told DNA Info on Tuesday. “We expect homelessness, affordable housing, education and quality of life issues to be discussed.”

Other representatives of the neighborhood will also be at Wednesday's town hall, including U.S. Rep. Jerry Nadler, Manhattan borough president Gale Brewer, New York state senator Brad Hoylman, and NYC Council Member Corey Johnson.
In a town hall last week in Brooklyn, de Blasio faced questions about his plan to tackle homelessness in the city. De Blasio has outlined an ambitious initiative to create 90 new shelters throughout the city, with the first three opening in the Crown Heights area.
