West Side Highway Crash Causes Lane Closures
The collision caused part of the West Side Highway to shut down on Wednesday afternoon.

CHELSEA, NY — A car crash near the West Side Highway on Wednesday afternoon has caused all northbound lanes on the highway to close, according to the city's emergency notification system.
The car collision was reported near the West Side Highway and West 23rd Street after 3 p.m. on Wednesday. The lane closures affect northbound lane north of 23rd Street.
Police did not immediately have additional information about the crash. It was unclear whether anyone was injured or how the crash happened.
