Tutu School exists to make space in the lives of children, 6 months to 8 years old, for creativity and joy. We do one thing – provide very young students with a magical introduction to ballet – and we focus all of our energy on doing that one thing in the highest quality manner possible. This means that every aspect of your child’s experience at Tutu School- from the sparkling spaces to the smiling faces – has been specifically tailored to the needs of even the tiniest dancers. Our carefully crafted curriculum was designed by dance professionals and developmental specialists to ensure that precisely the right amount of ballet technique is being introduced to students at exactly the right time, and not any earlier than their little bodies and young imaginations are ready for it. Importantly, our Tutu teachers receive thoughtful training in our curriculum and in the best ways to support young dancers, whatever their age, developmental stage, or level of experience. We believe in introducing students to ballet in a way that makes sense for their bodies and their development, but that also nurtures their creativity and love of music and movement. We want to cultivate an appreciation of the arts and to provide students with a solid technical foundation to study ballet more seriously later on (if they choose), but more importantly, to give them the kind of formative early enrichment experience that will serve them well in whatever dreams they follow later on.

AMT Theater

AMT Theater is the brainchild of Producer Al Tapper ("Broadway: The Golden Age") and Artistic Director Tony Sportiello. The goal is to create a regional theater right in the heart of Manhattan's theater district; creating new shows and new musicals, doing children's theater, cabaret, festivals, readings, film and more. It is a haven for actors, writers, directors, technicians, stagehands and audiences, as we seek to create exciting new work and become an integral piece of the Broadway community. CHELSEA, NY — One reveler at the Dream Hotel Downtown awoke to an unwelcome surprise the next day when she found her property missing.  According to police, the 28-year-old woman met a man at the Dream Hotel at 355 W. 16th St. at 4 a.m. on Aug. 6 and the two went to a room with the woman falling asleep with him there. When she woke up at 12:30 p.m. she found he was gone and her backpack and MacBook Pro had been stolen, police said. The items were valued at $3,245.  Police released surveillance footage of the man at the Dream Hotel prior to the theft.  <figure class="r-embed" data-aspectratio="16:9"><iframe src allowfullscreen data-aspectratio="16:9" data-originalheight="315" data-originalwidth="560" data-src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/CfhbHxlfuLY"></iframe></figure>The Dream Downtown has 314 rooms as well as four clubs and a glass-bottom pool. The hotel was founded by Vikram Chatwal, who police are investigating over an incident in which two dogs <a href="https://patch.com/new-york/soho-little-italy/hotel-founder-attempted-set-two-dogs-fire-soho-witnesses-say" target="_blank">were set on fire</a>.  Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).   Video Credit: NYPD
