Woman Slashed In Face Walking Into Chelsea Train Station: Police
The woman was walking about 8:40 a.m. down the steps of the Eighth Avenue and West 23rd Street station, when she was attacked, NYPD said.

CHELSEA, NY — A woman was slashed in the face while walking into a Chelsea train station over the weekend, police said on Tuesday.
The woman, 30, was attacked by another woman with a razor blade on the steps of the B, C train entrance at Eighth Avenue and West 23rd Street about 8:40 a.m. on Saturday, police said.
Police describe the Lower Manhattan attack as unprovoked.

The suspect ran away down West 23rd Street, police said.
Medics treated the 30-year-old woman at the scene, police said. NYPD did not provide the extent of her injuries.

Police released a photo Tuesday of the person wanted in connection to the slashing.
