UNION SQUARE, NY - Authorities are searching for a woman who reportedly stabbed a man in the back after a fight near Union Square Park last month.

The 47-year-old victim was walking near 14 Street and Broadway on Nov. 3 about 10:35 p.m. when a woman approached him and started a verbal fight, police said.

The woman followed the man down the street and stabbed him in the back with an unknown object, police said. The assailant then fled southbound on Broadway.

Medics rushed the victim to NYC Health and Hospitals/Bellevue where he was treated for a laceration to his lower back and listed in stable condition. He’s expected to survive.

The suspect is described as a woman standing at five feet two inches last seen wearing a black coat, blue jeans, a multicolored hat, and black sneakers.

No arrests have been announced as of Monday. The investigation is ongoing.
