Adirondack Glassblowing Studio To Host Fundraiser For LI's Paws Of War At Hoyt Farm
The glass pumpkin patch fundraiser is scheduled from Friday through Sunday, and 20% of proceeds will benefit veterans and service animals.

COMMACK, NY — Adirondack Glassblowing Studio is set to host a three-day fundraiser for Paws of War at Hoyt Farm in Commack this Friday through Sunday, according to a news release.
The inaugural Glass Pumpkin Patch Fundraiser at Hoyt Farm Nature Preserve is scheduled to run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day in support of Nesconset-based Paws of War, where 20% of the proceeds will support veterans and first responders, as well as their service animals.
Each year, the Adirondack Glassblowing Studio (ADK) produces thousands of hand-blown glass pumpkins for outdoor fall decor. ADK Glass partners with numerous non-profits nationwide on weekends throughout the fall season.

Paws of War's mission is to train and place service animals and companion dogs to support and provide independence to U.S. military veterans that suffer from the emotional and physical effects of war.
Attendees at Hoyt Farm will enjoy a walking path lined with straw bales covered with hundreds of colorful glass pumpkins. They'll get to experience the fall foliage on Hoyt Farm’s Nature Preserve.

Paws of War aims to help "both ends of the leash" also provides animal rescue for U.S. troops who have befriended an animal while serving overseas. The organization also serves as a community center where veterans and first responders come together daily to build bonds and support each other.
