A blood drive will take place June 29 at the Commack Public Library on Commack Road.
Long Island Blood Services will lead the drive.
According to the New York Blood Center, about one in seven patients admitted to a hospital are in need of blood. Sign up at the library to help save a life.
Volunteers must be at least 17 years old (16 years old with written consent from parent or legal guardian), weigh 110 pounds, or more, and be in good health.
