Man Wanted After Stealing $4K Using Another Person's Identity: Police

Police say the man stole $4,000 using a debit card opened under the victim's name.

COMMACK, NY — Suffolk County police are asking for the public's help identifying a man who they say used another person's identity to steal thousands of dollars from a Commack resident.

According to police, the man opened a debit card using the victim's personal information and made several withdrawals at a Commack ATM in August, stealing about $4,000.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information can submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-220-TIPS, using the P3 Tips mobile app, or visiting www.P3Tips.com.
