Crime Log: Insurance Fraud, Drug Dealing Arrests in Commack
A look at recent arrests in Commack.

The following information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.
- Michael Buchalter, 50, of Deer Park, was arrested in Commack and charged with insurance fraud after he allegedly collected unemployment benefits while he was working at King Kullen. Police said he was charged with insurance fraud in the fourth degree, a felony, on June 19.
- A North Babylon woman was arrested on a charge of petty larceny June 11 after allegedly taking money from the cash register of the Commack Home Depot, where she worked.
- A Commack man was arrested June 7 on a charge of criminal sale of a controlled substance in the fifth degree, a felony. Police said the 17-year-old was caught selling prescription medication.
