Good morning, Commack. Here's a look at what you should know about today in town.
Be Part of a Living Legacy in Commack
A Patch blogger is working on a Commack living legacy project, in which a compilation of stories from the Commack community, as told by past and current residents, alumni of the school district, business owners, merchants, local employees and others, will connect generations and preserve memories.
The “We Are Commack Proud Living Legacy Project” is an account of everyday lives in the 20th and 21st Centuries, however, all are welcomed to integrate older history of Commack.
Email your stories (written and audio) and pictures to WeAreCommackProud@ALifetimeLegacy.com. Stories can be any length, but about 500 words is ideal. Audio length is can be around three minutes.
Comments are are welcome on the group's Facebook group: We Are Commack Proud https://www.facebook.com/groups/WeAreCommackProud/ or check out details on the Living Legacy Project tab at http://ALifetimeLegacy.com. The project can also be seen on Twitter at @CommackLegacy.
