Woman Used Stolen Credit Cards In Commack: Police

The cards were reported stolen from basketball courts in Hauppauge and were later used, police say.

COMMACK, NY — Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help finding the woman who, police said, used stolen credit cards in Commack in August.

A credit card was stolen from the basketball courts at SUSA, at 114 Parkway Drive S., Hauppauge, on Aug. 9, police said. A short time later, a woman used a stolen credit card to purchase three gift cards from The Home Depot, located at 5025 Jericho Turnpike, police said. She is wanted for grand larceny, police said.

Police ask anyone with information to reach Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and leave an anonymous tip via phone call at 1-800-220-TIPS, using a mobile app which can be downloaded through the App Store or Google Play by searching P3 Tips, or online at www.P3Tips.com. A cash reward is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
