Woman Wanted For Using Stolen Credit Cards In Commack Grand Larceny Case: Police

Credit cards taken from a pocketbook stolen at a Commack Hobby Lobby were later used at several nearby stores, police say.

COMMACK, NY — Suffolk County Police and Crime Stoppers are asking for the public’s help to identify a woman accused of using stolen credit cards at several Commack stores last fall, police said.

According to police, a pocketbook containing credit cards was stolen from a shopping cart at the Hobby Lobby in Commack on Nov. 18. Later that day, the stolen cards were reportedly used at multiple nearby stores, including Burlington, CVS, and Plato’s Closet, police said.

Detectives with the Suffolk County Police Fourth Squad released surveillance images of the suspect and are urging anyone who recognizes her to come forward.
