Yokohama Sushi Reopens New Commack Restaurant, 2 Years After Fire

The sushi and fusion eatery was on Jericho Turnpike for 15 years, and has now reopened "after two long years" in a new location.

COMMACK, NY — The owners of Yokohama Sushi in Commack announced their long-awaited reopening in early May.

The sushi and Asian fusion restaurant operated on Jericho Turnpike for 15 years before an electrical fire forced the owners to close and find a new space.

On May 2, Tony and Jenny Lin wrote on the restaurant's Facebook page:

"Thank you everyone who came to support our grand opening week. We wouldn’t be where we are without your continuous support — even after two long years."

The new restaurant is at 6333 Jericho Tpke. The menu features sushi dishes and Asian fusion dishes like Thai coconut curry , Szechuan peppercorn sauce and other classic Szechuan dishes.
