3 Arrested After Street Takeover Bust On Long Island: Police
Three people were arrested and 4 BMWs were impounded over the weekend after hundreds of vehicles closed down a Long Island road, police say.

DEER PARK, NY — Three people were arrested and four vehicles were impounded on Saturday after hundreds of vehicles took over a Long Island road, according to Suffolk County police.
Police said a 911 caller reported that hundreds of vehicles driving recklessly had closed down the road at Long Island Avenue and Commack Road in Deer Park around 4:30 p.m.
Members of the Street Takeover Task Force responded and arrested three people, impounded four vehicles and issued multiple summonses for the shutdown and performing reckless stunts, including donuts and burnouts, police said.

The following were arrested and issued summonses and their vehicles were impounded:
• Dillon Dorner, 25, of Brooklyn, who was driving a 2015 BMW M4
• D. Anthony Harris, 21, of Laurelton, who was driving a 2020 BMW X3
• Adriel Charles, 21, of Wyandanch, who was driving a 2020 BMW 340

Police said they also impounded a 2021 BMW 335 driven by Sean Heron, 26, of Astoria, who was also issued summonses.
They are slated to appear at First District Court in Central Islip on July 18.
