5 Library Events Happening This Week
Kids can play with Legos and and adults can learn how to use their Nook at the Deer Park and North Babylon Libraries this week.

1. ESL Class: The North Babylon Library offers a conversational English and writing class twice a week. Stop by on Tuesday or Thursday at noon. You can register online or in person.
2. Lots of Legos: Children in grades 1 through 6 can join a Lego play group at the Deer Park Library on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m.
3. Aluminum Engraving Workshop: On Thursday at the North Babylon Library, adults and teens can make their own matted aluminum engaving. There will be a number of designs to choose from. A $10 materials fee is due at registration.

4. Preschool Storytime: Children are invited to the North Babylon Library to listen to a story and make a parachute craft. Kids ages 2 to 3 can come at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, while ages 3 to 5 can come on Wednesday at 2 p.m. or Thursday at 10:30 a.m. This event is open to residents within the North Babylon School District.
5. Nook Help: Librarians at the North Babylon Library will teach Nook owners how to check out e-books from the library's website on Friday at 10 a.m. Space is limited, so registration is required. The workshop is open to North Babylon cardholders only.
