5 Library Events Happening This Week
A look at events coming up at Deer Park and North Babylon libraries.
1. Father's Day Craft: Create a Father's Day gift for dad at the Deer Park Library on Monday at 7 p.m.
2. Knitting Club: Novice and advanced knitters are welcome to join this knitting club, led by Roberta. The group meets Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the North Babylon Library.
3. Adult CPR: Learn ault CPR at Deer Park Library at 7 p.m. Wednesday. A $30 registration fee is required.
4. Legal Issues for Seniors: George Roach, formerly of the Legal Aid Society, will present a workshop for seniors and their families on Thursday at 1 p.m. at North Babylon Library. He will discuss will, power of attorney, living wills, health proxies, Medicaid and long term health care insurance.
5. Afternoon Movie: Catch a showing of "The Hobbit" at Deer Park Library on Thursday at 1 p.m.
