$50K Prize-Winning Powerball Ticket Sold In West Babylon

The $50,000 winning Powerball ticket was sold at a Shell food mart in West Babylon, according to the New York Lottery.

WEST BABYLON, NY – A prize-winning Powerball ticket worth $50,000 was sold in West Babylon in August, according to the New York Lottery.

The lucky winner purchased the ticket at a Shell food mart at 1160 Straight Path on August 28, lottery officials said.

So far, no news on who the lucky winner is.

The winning numbers for the Powerball game are drawn from a field of one to 69. The red Power Ball is drawn from a separate field of one to 26.

The Powerball drawing is televised every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m.

The New York Lottery generated $3.7 billion in total sales during the fiscal year 2022-2023.
