Back To School: North Babylon Village 2023-24 School Calendar

NORTH BABYLON, NY — Back-to-school planning has already begun in North Babylon, with calendars available to help parents prepare for the first day in North Babylon Union Free School District.

The first day of school for most students in North Babylon is Tuesday, Sept. 5.

Heading into the upcoming school year, some dates are subject to change. Here is the list of dates to know for this school year:

Yom Kippur: Monday, Sept. 25

Columbus Day: Monday, Oct. 9

Superintendent's Conference Day: Tuesday, Nov. 7

Veterans Day Observed: Friday, Nov. 10

Thanksgiving Break: Thursday, Nov. 23 to Friday, Nov. 24

Winter Break: Monday, Dec. 25, to Monday, Jan. 1

Martin Luther King Jr. Day: Monday, Jan. 15

Mid-Winter Recess: Monday Feb. 19 to Friday, Feb. 23

Easter Recess: Thursday, March 28 to Sunday, April 1*

Eid al-Fitr: Wednesday, April 10
