Christmas Tree Shops Liquidation Sales Includes 2 LI Stores: Documents
The Massachusetts-based department chain filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy earlier this year.
DEER PARK, NY — Another major discount store chain on Long Island will soon offer some deep price cuts.
Christmas Tree Shops recently filed papers in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware indicating that liquidation sales would begin at all the chain's stores. The sales could begin as soon as Thursday, according to the Wall Street Journal.
The two Long Island stores set to be liquidated are located below, according to federal bankruptcy court documents obtained by Patch.

The Middleborough, Massachussetts-based chain initially filed for bankruptcy in May following the collapse of its parent co. The modern chain began in the 1970s with a single store in Yarmouth. The chain was eventually acquired by now-bankrupt Bed, Bath and Beyond, but sold to Handil Holdings in 2020.
In October, Breslin Realty announced that a Christmas Tree Shop would open at Sayville Plaza in Bohemia.
