'Dedication And Excellence': LI Gift Shop Honored By Local Officials

DEER PARK, NY — A family-run unique boutique in Deer Park has been recognized as a 2025 Small Business Honoree by Suffolk County Legislator Tom Donnelly.

Briscoe Gift Box—a third-generation, family-owned and operated boutique selling gifts, clothing, jewelry, cards and more—received the honor earlier this month.

Founded in 1980 by Rose and Steve Kwintner, Briscoe Gift Box is still a family-run business 45 years later. Rose and Steve's daughter, Stacey Eisenberg, manages the Deer Park location with help from her daughter, Summer, after school and on weekends. Brisco has a second location in West Babylon.

"We are honored to be recognized as the 2025 Small Business Honoree by Suffolk County Legislator Tom Donnelly," Stacey wrote on social media. "This acknowledgment fuels our passion to continue serving our community with dedication and excellence. Thank you to our loyal customers and supporters who make our journey possible."

The Brisco shops are known for their wide array of customized gifts for all occasions, including women’s clothing, accessories, jewelry, children’s gifts, home décor and items for sports fans. The shops also offer gift cards and wrapping, free gift wrapping on site.

Rose and Stacey were honored on May 6 at a Suffolk County Legislature General Meeting in Hauppauge, where Donnelly presented the family with a County Proclamation and read their accomplishments into the record.
