No. 8 - Alicia Legland
Alicia is the editor of the high school newspaper, she is a member of the International Culture Club, National Honor Society and Student Council President.
As a student leader, one of her projects this year was to help improve the recycling in the building. Alicia has taken the initiative to be a part of the Recycle Bowl and help make the high school and community a more environmentally sound place.
Alicia has also volunteered her time to tutor students over the summer, and was an important part of the holiday toy drive, Thanksgiving food drive, and she has helped with post-Hurricane Sandy clean up activities.
Alicia will be attending Adelphi University in the fall and plans to major in Environmental Studies and Pre-Law.
