No. 6 - Kimberly Block
Kim has been actively involved in class activities since freshman year and can always be found supporting her school at homecoming and football games. She is a varsity tennis player and a member of the Varsity Leaders Club. She has been inducted into both the National Honor Society and Spanish National Honor Society, and she has been a leader in the HEAT club, which promotes awareness about the dangers of distracted driving.
Throughout her years at the high school Kimberly has completed significant volunteer work. As a member of the Girl Scouts of America, Kim has earned her Gold Award, which represents a significant commitment to service, and a true sense of responsibility and leadership. For the past few years, Kim has also been volunteering for a program called Horse-ability, which provides physical rehabilitation to individuals through horseback riding.
Kim also volunteers at Good Samaritan hospital, doing patient transport. These, as well as her many other volunteer pursuits, demonstrate her charitable spirit and her genuine care and concern for the well-being of others.
Kim’s future plans include enrolling in a Pre-Medical program next year so that she can pursue her dream of becoming a General Practitioner. She is deciding between Hartwick College and Adelphi University.
