Deer Park Class of 2013 Top 10: Liza Chowdhury

No. 4 - Liza Chowdhury

Liza has found that her true passion lies with science and created a Science Olympiads Team at Deer Park, which has doubled in size since its inception. She also worked with a different science teacher to reestablish the Scallop Bowl, another science competition team.  Liza played a key role in forming this team and helped bring them to a competition at Stony Brook University.  
Liza is not just a leader, but a trailblazer. She is not only intelligent, but also passionate about learning and developing her intellect.

Next year, Liza will be attending Stony Brook University as a Pre-Med student. Once she obtains her medical degree, Liza has vowed to go abroad to her birth country, Bangladesh, as well as other countries to help less privileged people.
