Doogan will attend University of Buffalo in the fall.

During his tenure at Deer Park High School, Tyler has excelled immensely, both inside and outside of the classroom. Tyler received a perfect score on the math section of the PSAT his sophomore year. Since then, Tyler has gone on to tackle the most challenging courses that Deer Park has to offer. He is recognized as an “AP Scholar with Distinction”, and has even earned a perfect score on his World History AP exam, as well as the Geometry Regents. This remarkable young man possesses a keen intellect as well as a humble nature, making him a joy to work with. Teachers, administrators, and staff only have the highest of compliments with regard to Tyler. His aptitude for higher thinking, as well as his self directed learning style, helps him to not only succeed in the classroom, but to raise the standard of those around him.
Outside of the classroom, Tyler seeks to continually challenge himself. He achieves this goal through his involvement in various honor societies and teams. As a senior, Tyler is captain of both the Math Team and Academic Team, as well as a key contributing member of the Science Olympiads. One of Tyler’s proudest accomplishments has been his participation in “The Challenge” on MSG Varsity, in which Tyler competed with a select group of Deer Park students against other high school teams from the tri-state area in an academic quiz game.
Tyler has been accepted to several prestigious universities and will be attending the honors program at the University of Buffalo next fall to major in Engineering with a minor in Physics.
