Deer Park Salutes Its Champions
Seventeen high school students recognized for achievements by teachers and administrators with breakfast.

Seventeen Deer Park High School students were honored by teachers and administrators at the Breakfast for Champions, held in the school library on Nov 12.
For the event, held each fall and spring, student champions were selected by each of the school’s departments, with three additional ones chosen by principals and a teacher.
“Breakfast for Champions is an opportunity for teachers and administrators to honor students who have impacted them in some way,” said Jeanne Kozlowsky, the school’s associate principal of curriculum. “The event recognizes students who demonstrate excellent conduct and character on a daily basis, work on achieving their personal best inside and outside the classroom and show an innate compassion to help others.”
