Deer Park School Helps Give Back to Make-A-Wish

Students and faculty at JFK Intermediate School held a toy drive to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Staff and students at JFK Intermediate School recently lent a helping hand to a young boy who wanted to give back to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

John Ginatotti, whose mother, Angela, teaches at the school, was granted a wish through the Make-A-Wish Foundation, and decided that he wanted to help out the organization in return by hosting a toy drive.

The community quickly jumped in to help, collecting donations through various donation drives. A large amount of toys were collected and distributed to sick children.
