A vacant storefront sits on Deer Park Avenue in North Babylon waiting for a tenant.

Puppies, a dog store which occupied the commercial space next to a pizza parlor, within the same shopping center as the Continental Diner, has remained vacant since the owner moved to Seaford in September.

Though the strip mall has its fair share of dining options, the center could use a boost in retailers.
