Man Attempts To Rob North Babylon Bank Flees In Parking Lot: Police
The man who attempted to rob the bank is still at large, police say.

NORTH BABYLON, NY — A man who attempted to rob a North Babylon bank on Wednesday morning remains at large, Suffolk County Police said.
At about 9:30 a.m., a man entered Bethpage Federal Credit Union, located at 1350 Deer Park Ave, and handed a teller a note demanding cash.
He then fled the bank on foot with no proceeds, police said.

The man was described as black, about 5 feet 8 inches tall, and was wearing gloves, a baseball hat, surgical mask, glasses, sneakers and gray sweatshirt, police said.
Detectives are asking anyone with information on this incident to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
