Man Hit By Car And Hospitalized On Long Island: Police
A pedestrian was hospitalized after getting hit by a car and seriously injured on Long Island over the weekend, Suffolk County police say.
WEST BABYLON, NY — A man was hit by a car and seriously injured on Long Island on Saturday morning, according Suffolk County police.
Sean Brown, 51, of Seaford was crossing eastbound Little East Neck Road, near Great Neck Road, when he was struck by a northbound 2024 Mercedes Benz around 9:43 a.m., police said.
Brown was transported to Good Samaritan University Hospital in West Islip for treatment of serious injuries, police said.

Police said the driver of the Mercedes, Thomas Daleo, 56, of West Babylon, was not injured.
The vehicle was impounded for a safety check, police said.
