UPDATE: Missing Deer Park Man Found
Police issue Silver Alert to find a local resident suffering from dementia.

Suffolk County Police are searching for a missing Deer Park man who suffers from early signs of dementia.
According to police, John Papaioannou, 86, of 30 Summerfield Court, was last seen on Dec. 12 at 4 p.m. when he left his home in his tan 2002 Nissan Sentra, license plate BCE 5804, in an unknown direction. Papaioannou is described as white, bald, 5-feet and 8-inches tall, approximately 165 pounds and has brown eyes. He was wearing a dark gray hooded jacket, a maroon turtleneck shirt, dark gray pants and a gray tweed hat.

Papaioannou was reported missing by his wife.
Police have issued a Silver Alert in search of him. Detectives are asking anyone with information on his whereabouts to call the Missing Persons Section 631-852-6044.
