Mom Arrested After Leaving Toddler In Running Vehicle At LI Mall: Police
A mother was arrested for leaving her toddler unattended in a running vehicle at a Long Island mall, according to Suffolk County police.
DEER PARK, NY — A mother was arrested for leaving her toddler unattended in her vehicle at a Tanger Outlets on Long Island, according to Suffolk County police.
Police said they received a report that a child was left in a car seat in a Nissan Rogue in the parking lot of Tanger Outlets in Deer Park around 11:15 a.m.
Police said the mother,Yesenia Pinilla, 36, of Greenlawn, was arrested when she returned to the vehicle.

Police said Child Protective Services was notified, the child was unharmed and released to his father.
Pinilla was charged with endangering the welfare of a child, police said. She will be held overnight at the Fourth Precinct and is slated to be arraigned on Friday.
