New Kind Of Fast Food Expands To Long Island
Wonder, an eatery offering menus from over 20 renowned chefs including Bobby Flay, will open its first 2 Long Island locations this year.

DEER PARK, NY — A restaurant offering a new spin on fast food and delivery is opening its first two Long Island locations this year.
Wonder, which essentially acts as a "new kind of food hall," has leased space in Deer Park and Melville and expects to open sometime this year, a rep told Patch.
The restaurant offers customers diverse, made-to-order meals by partnering with over 20 renowned chefs to create menus and prepare the food in centralized kitchens that deliver to customers directly in less than 35 minutes.

While Wonder is spearheaded by Marc Lore, an entrepreneur, and owner of the Minnesota Timberwolves, the menus are created by a variety of chefs ranging from Food Network stars to Michelin Star recipients like Bobby Flay, Jose Andres, Nancy Silverton, Marcus Samuelsson and others.
Customers can order food from various eateries such as Brooklyn's Di Fara Pizza, Tejas Barbecue, Streetbird by Marcus Samuelsson, Jota by José Andrés, and more.

Guests can dine in, pick up, or order takeout via the Wonder app, and enjoy dishes from as many restaurants as they'd like in a single delivery.
Wonder has leased restaurant spaces at 1605 Deer Park Ave. in Deer Park, which formerly housed Boston Market, and at 901 Walt Whitman Road in Melville, Wonder told Patch.
Wonder currently has 38 locations in New York City, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Pennsylvania and Connecticut.
