News Nearby: Man Found Dead Near Deer Park LIRR Station

Suffolk County Police are investigating the shooting of a man who was found dead over the weekend near the Long Island Railroad station in Deer Park.

According to police, the body of Frank Gianetto, 39, was found in front of 20 Washington Avenue in Baywood at 6:30 a.m. on Sunday. A motorist notified police that a body was lying in the street.

An autopsy on Gianetto was scheduled to be performed by the Suffolk County Medical Examiners office. Police did not immediately know Gianetto’s place of residence.
