Each student’s contribution is vital to the team’s progress as the rankings are determined by the average of problems solved per student. Their dedication propelled them to the ninth position nationally among second graders, showcasing their hard work and resilience in tackling challenging math concepts, district officials said.

Recently, Town of Babylon Supervisor Rich Schaffer came to visit this class to recognize their accomplishment. In addition, three students from Ms. Milidantri’s class – Kyle Ngo, Brandon Sanchez Toledo and Gabriel Alers – qualified for and emerged victorious in the New York State Competition.
