North Babylon Lifeguards Give Life Saving CPR To Pool Patron: Report

The man was found unresponsive in the pool's locker room at the time, a report says.

NORTH BABYLON, NY — A man owes his life to three lifeguards, after he was round unresponsive in a locker room at a North Babylon pool on Sunday, News12 reported.

A Good Samaritan discovered the man in the locker room of Phelps Lane Pool and attempted to perform CPR.

Lifeguards Chandler Manning, Samantha Muller and Maggie Higginsthen sprang into action after learning about the man, using an AED. The three worked together to provide CPR and give the man proper ventilation, News12 said.

Their efforts proved successful, and the man began breathing again. He is now recovering from a cardiac arrest and head injury, News12 said.
